Luke Bryan is hosting a five-part webisode series on ABC.com called “Around Town With Luke Bryan.” ABC is gearing up for the premiere of this year’s “CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock”, which premieres August 31 at 8pm. Luke also hosted the webisode series last year.
“Hosting the CMA Music Festival coverage for ABC.com with Ashley is something I truly enjoy doing,” says Bryan. “I think I have grown so much since the first year we hosted together just by watching and learning from her. It’s such a great experience for me to be a part of this and be able to let the fans see all the things that go on during CMA Music Festival week. Country artists truly appreciate every single person who supports what we do and this is a way that I can help give back to both those who attend and those who were not able to be here.”

The peeps have spoken…Luke Bryan’s launch party for his October release of his sophmore studio album ‘Doin My Thing’ will be in his hometown of Leesburg, GA. Fans ‘Demanded’ Luke Bryan using Eventful.

Over the past eight weeks, thousand of fans went to Eventful.com to “demand” Luke Bryan’s album release show in their town. The results are in and Luke’s hometown of Leesburg, GA (w/ a population of about 3,000) came out on top with 2,478 votes! (Almost everyone in the town of Leesburg voted!)
“I appreciate all the hometown support,” says Luke. “This is going to be a great chance for me to get home and all the while play for the people who have supported me the most over the years. It’s going to be fun, and I can’t wait until this show rolls around. It will be the highlight of my album launch tour!”

Luke’s sophomore album, Doin’ My Thing, hits stores October 6th. Luke admits that this album is a bit different than his debut album…
“My first album had great hits and it sold well, but everything about that album is beatable,” Luke says. “We wanted to make a bigger sounding record, something that moved a little down the road from the first record. We wanted to show my growth vocally and lyrically.”

Luke Bryan made a small tribute to Michael Jackson with a special LBTV episode. Obviously, Luke was/is a fan of Michael, and used his humor to remember him. For some reason, I cannot seem to get passed Luke putting that girls hat over his ‘manly parts.’ My advice to her is…NEVER GET RID OF THAT HAT!
