Gloriana has issued an apology for missing last night’s gig at Club Rodeo in San Jose, California. The band wrote on their Twitter page: “Sorry to everyone in San Jose. We are so sad we had to cancel, but we will be back when we are healthy and can play our best for you.” It was signed “the girls.” Tonight, Gloriana is expected to be at the Tulare County Fair in Central California with Julianne Hough .

Gloriana debuted its new live video The Way It Goes on CMT today during the Top 20 Countdown. Who says singers and musicians can’t have a profoundly positive effect on America’s youth? While serving as the opening act for Taylor Swift’s new tour, Gloriana will be headlining their own concerts earlier in the day at high schools in many markets. With the tour kicking off Thursday night (April 23) in Evansville, Ind., the quartet made its first school stop at Evansville North High School. Not long after their performance, a student named Sara posted the following message on the group’s MySpace page:
so you guys played a couple songs at my school in evansville today. i dont know if you remember me, but i had you all sign my detention slip to see if it would ease the blow when i gave it to my mom. well it worked. she laughed more than she lectured 
and she forgot to ground me! so thanks
